Thank you for visiting our program section of the site. Here you can see what type of outdoor retreats we coordinate and facilitate annually to ensure veterans have a safe environment to relinquish the agony they have held onto for years, while ensuring these events are uplifting, challenging and encouraging. Our goal is to make sure veterans attending our programs are able to jump back into the saddle for the next ride.
“PTSD is like marriage. If it struggles financially, has difficulty or refuses to communicate, or is not willing to adapt, it will fail” –(Scott Gatto – USMC Veteran)
Those who have served in the military understand what it is like to work hard for what you have, how to live with next to nothing, to never count on tomorrow, and the good old saying…” it’s not if, but when”. These men and women have been equipped with the tools to accomplish some of life’s toughest missions, yet with one third of our nation’s veterans struggling with PTSD, and over half battling mental complications since leaving the military, many of them have lost their way and their tool bag.
Our MISSION at Reunite the Fight is to encourage these veterans to make the DECISION to lean in on other veterans and their comrades for help. RESTORING their life’s purpose, IGNITING their faith, while VALIDATING any resources they will need on this healing journey and EMPOWERING them to EXECUTE daily tasks once again just as they did on the battlefield.
